Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
— The Shawshank Redemption
Holidays should be different. I decided to draw a colourful picture for the Christmas and the New Year. However, drawing this simple one was not as easy as expected. I had to use more patience to control the colour pencils. At last I got too tired leaving the left side unfinished. Perhaps I should not have given it up.
It’s relatively easier to draw old people because there are clear lines, light and shade on their face.
Haven’t drawn any pictures in the past ten days due to the wastewater treatment exam taken on 10 Jan, so chose a simple topic from the professional drawing book to practice in the evening of that day.
Hands are always the weakness in my drawing skills. I still need more practice.
